Kemet Ma Heka

Embracing a Legitimate Lineage of Your Heart

Your heart is known to her, and loved.

As Goddess of Ten Thousand Names, and responsive mother to all sincere seekers, Isis is inclusive and diverse, adaptable yet retaining of her essence, powerful and vastly compassionate. She lives on as a genuine divine being, and is beloved to your heart, even now.

Inner Meaning of Kemet Ma Heka

Kemet, meaning Black Land, is a sacred name for Egypt.

Enriched by rains as the star Sirius rose before the dawn, heralding Egyptian New Year, the fertile black earth of the Nile delta generated abundant crops, providing relief and protection from the hardships of Life in the fierce red desert.

The symbolic inner meaning of Kemet is abundance, restoration and relief.

Ma is derived from Mama and Amma, two nicknames for mother, which are frequently used in Egypt. Ma is often utilised as a term for mother throughout diverse cultures from India to North America, Australia, Europe and beyond.

Known as a compassionate divine mother and skilful magician, Goddess Isis is the heart of the magical mother lineage of Ancient Egypt, which includes goddesses such as Sekhmet and Ma’at. As divine mother – with an extraordinary, near-universal, appeal – Isis is protector and guardian, guiding those of us who resonate with her as a loving mother on our path to fulfilment.

Heka is a complex concept, referring to personal magical ability, as well as the spiritual energy pervading all of creation. Revered as a great magician, Isis possesses powerful heka, expressing her magic to overcome obstacles and generate abundant benefits.

Putting all this together, Kemet Ma Heka is the regenerative magic of the dark feminine wisdom which shows you how to move through suffering and arise transformed.

Heart connection with Goddess Isis naturally evokes inner recognition of your own heka and stimulates your personal empowerment to practice magical creativity in a meaningful way.

How can you begin to connect with Kemet Ma Heka? I’ve created an introductory guided process for you in this video.

For those that want to enrich and deepen a personal experience of Kemet Ma Heka, and the Goddess Isis, I have channelled a more intricate offering and practice as a gift for you. You can experience that practice here.

The Lion’s Gate 888 Effect

Kemet Ma Heka generates the Lion’s Gate 888 effect.

Lion’s Gate is a cosmic event connected to an astronomical happening – the rising of Sirius in the pre-dawn sky, after a period of invisibility each year.

In the ancient world, the annual rising of Sirius before the Sun demarcated the Egyptian New Year and opened the celestial gates for humanity to receive divine blessing.  From the literal rains that soon followed, to the life-supportive crops that the rains provided, to the spiritual gift of restored life and abundance, this was a time of blessings received.

One of the forms of Goddess Isis is Sopdet, or the soul of the star Sirius. Functioning as Goddess of the Inundation, Isis-Sopdet brought forth the new cycle and blessings for it to be a positive and productive one too. It was Isis who bestowed the life-giving rains, enriching fertile divine feminine blackness of the soil.

“Goddess Isis is an eternal promise of restorative abundance after difficulty and depletion, opening the Lion’s Gate of plenty to fulfil our hearts.

As you connect with Isis for spiritual rejuvenation, your energies are nourished, and your magic spontaneously arises.  This is the Lion’s Gate 888 effect which refers to radical renewal and restoration through spiritual grace.

Why is Lion’s Gate connected to numerology of 8?

The exact moment of Sirius’ annual rising before the Sun varies according to your location on Earth and also evolves over time. The speculated dates of Egyptian New Year for the ancients varies according to different modern astronomical models of interpretation. Some astronomers assert it coincided with June solstice, and others suggest it occurred in July.  The rising of Sirius still happens every year, but that may appear in your part of the world in a different month altogether. Fortunately humanity has cultivated a universal celebration of Lion’s Gate on the 8th day of the 8th month. This is pragmatic but not random. The esoteric meaning of the 8 vibration aligns with Lion’s Gate beautifully, and with the Goddess Isis.

The 8 represents divine feminine abundance, associated with the 8 prosperities of the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi, Buddhist Goddess Tara offers protection from the 8 fears, and the Babylonian Goddess Ishtar’s sacred symbols included the 8 pointed star and the Lion. In ancient Nubia and the Kingdom of Kush, Goddess Isis was worshipped with a consort – the Meroic Lion God Apedemak. In Ancient Egypt, there were 8 hymns dedicated to Isis in her temple at Philae, and the month of August featured festivals honouring Isis in celebration of the inundation, when the waters of the Nile flooded, enriching the fertile black delta soils.

The 8 vibration also represents the enduring relationship between humanity and spirit. The 8 is a symbol for the Hermetic maxim, As Above, So Below, as taught by the Ibis-headed Egyptian deity of magic and wisdom, Thoth (who is a close guide and spiritual friend to Goddess Isis).

Sacred numerical meaning of 8 is a reminder that humanity and divinity have a close, active bond and you have a birthright to request and receive assistance from the divine dimensions that are always willing to help us.

Lion’s Gate refers not only to a date, but also to a spiritual vibration that can help us find courage to overcome our fears, receiving blessing and manifesting our heartfelt destiny.

May your enriched heart bond with the Goddess Isis swiftly secure her presence, blessing and intercession. May you readily receive what is needed and desired to transmute pain and pressure into the pleasure of your heart-aligned expressiveness in your life and our world.
